Default With our without stripes...

When I bought the car it had some unfavorable stylings which I've fixed. One of which was the stripes that run front to back, but the more I drive the car the more I think I like them. For one I've never seen another sonic blue with the stripes like it so its very unique and boy does it stand out in a crowd here since its very rare to see one at all where I live at all. But on the other hand... sonic blue without any striping at all is sweet tits and it would be sweet for it to match my sonic blue Lightning . So I'm torn at this juncture. Have a matching set of '03 SVTs, or one with white racing stripes.

I have to have it repainted regardless because of the previous owners who did a Maaco job on it. You can see dirt under the paint and some of the trim is fading more than the decklid and roof and adding the stripes again would cost some more dinero.

Here are some pics as it stands now. What do you fellas think?

They are not bad... the whole stripe thing is a love or hate thing... but I dig your Terminator's stripes!

I once bought a Lightning that was striped from head to toe like that. Like you I didnt like it at first and had plans to remove them but then they grew on me and I left them.

In this case I like them, it's definitely different and it looks like they did a great job putting them on. I'm really digging the way they did the front upper & lower grill opening amof

The only other question I'd have is whether or not to keep the stainless steel inserts or go with the black outlines I've seen or the carbon fiber that Chris has.

I got mixed feelings about those (hence the reason I never did mine).
Certain color inserts look good with certain colors cars but not all with all.

I went cruising with a bunch of Terminators a few months ago and I like the Black Inserts with the light Terminators (White, Silver, Grey).
Hell Black even looks good on Red. I think the only colors Black wouldnt look good on is Blue and Black.

We actually went cruising with over 100 total Stangs and we did @ 150 miles round trip. And YES we made a little noise, it was a wild day and A LOT of fun

Just cruisin' by and hell yeah... I like the stripes. I think it gives the car a definite competition look especially the way they did the grill. Take them off and it looks like any other Mustang. Yeah, I know its different, but that look turns heads... hope you keep/kept them.
